Server Admin Guide

This guide covers every Chat Rewards feature available to server administrators. Use the sidebar to jump to any topic.

How Chat Rewards Works

Members earn credits by chatting in channels you designate as active channels. Rewards drop randomly based on drop rates you configure. Members spend credits in your shop on Discord roles you set up.

Core Setup

Get these three things configured first:

  1. Mod Role & Permissions — Assign a role that can manage Chat Rewards without needing Manage Server permission
  2. Active Channels — Choose which channels members earn credits in
  3. Drop Rates — Control how often rewards appear

Types of Rewards

RewardHow it works
Message RewardsRandom drops when members chat — common, epic, or legendary

Daily CreditsGuaranteed 100 credits per 100 messages, up to a daily cap
Chat DropsTrivia events where the first correct answer wins credits
Chat FlurriesShort bursts where reward spawn rates are temporarily multiplied

Quick Reference: Permissions

  • /mod-role — requires Administrator
  • /credits purge — requires Administrator
  • /whitelabel — requires Administrator

See Mod Role & Permissions for details.
