Daily Credits
Daily Credits give members a guaranteed credit income based on activity, separate from the luck-based drop system. Members earn 100 credits for every 100 messages they send in active channels, up to a server-configured daily cap.
This matters because random drops favor lucky members. Daily credits make sure consistent, active members always earn something regardless of RNG.
How It Works
- The bot counts messages in active channels per member
- Every 100 messages, the member receives 100 credits automatically
- This repeats until the daily cap is reached
- The cap resets 12 hours after the member last hit it
Weekend boosts and active multipliers apply to daily credit payouts the same way they apply to message rewards.
Other reward types (chat drops, boost rewards, shop items) are completely unaffected by the daily credits cap.
Member Command
/daily-credits
Shows the member's current progress toward their next 100-credit payout, and how much of the daily cap they've used.
Admin: Setting the Daily Limit
/daily-credits-limit <amount>
- Values must be multiples of 100 (e.g., 100, 200, 500, 1000)
- Set to 0 to disable the feature entirely
- Default value is 500
Free servers: can only use 0 (disabled) or 500 (default)
Premium servers: can set any multiple of 100
Choosing a Cap
The right cap depends on how active your server is. A cap that's too high inflates the economy for very active members; one that's too low may feel pointless for members who chat a lot.
A good starting point for most servers is the default (500). Monitor credit balances over a couple of weeks, then adjust based on how fast members are accumulating credits relative to your shop prices.
Troubleshooting
Members say they never earn daily credits:
- Check the daily limit is not set to 0 (
/daily-credits-limit 0disables it) - Confirm the channel they're chatting in is an active channel (
/active-channels view)
Daily credits not resetting:
- The reset runs automatically 12 hours after the member hit the cap — not on a fixed midnight schedule
